The following terms and conditions govern your use of this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Currency and taxes
Prices on this website are in Australian dollars. Purchases made on this website include GST where applicable.
Terms of sale
By placing an order on this website, you are making an offer to purchase a product - subject to the following terms and conditions:
- All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. In the event of a pricing error or stock unavailability which means your offer to purchase is unable to be accepted, the Kin team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss a suitable arrangement.
- Dispatch times for stock may vary according to availability. We do our best to dispatch your order as soon as possible, however if we are delayed for any reason we will endeavour to let you know as soon as possible.
- Please place your order carefully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if you realise you have made a mistake with your order – please get in touch with us as soon as possible and (if we haven’t already dispatched your order) we will be happy to assist.
- You must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a suitable bank to place an order.
- All effort has been made to ensure the descriptions and information on this website are accurate to the best of our knowledge– however, we are unable to offer any warranties as to the accuracy of this information or accept liability from harm arising from any error in so far as our obligations under Australian law permits.
Shipping
Orders over $100 value are eligible for free shipping Australia wide.
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are processed in accordance with Australian Consumer Protection Legislation.
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us at hello@kintea.com.au within 14 days of your purchase to discuss. If we cannot resolve your issue we may, at our discretion, arrange for a replacement or refund of your order.
Goods which are returned unopened with the packaging in new condition will be refunded in full, minus the original shipping costs. Refunds will only be processed once we have received the goods purchased – we cannot be liable for the loss of an item while it is being returned so we recommend you send your returns using registered mail.
Refunds will be made by the same method that payment was given.
Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please get in touch with the Kin team within 24 hours of placing your order. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cancel orders that have already been packed and dispatched.
Prohibitions
You must not misuse this website. This includes engaging in activity that in any way interferes with the operation of this website, activities of Kin Tea, or any 3rd party accessed through this website.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia, Australia.
Privacy Policy
What information we collect
When you purchase an item from our store we may collect some information about you (such as your name, email address, and shipping information) in order to facilitate your order.
As a small neighbourhood organisation we rely on the payment gateway services provided by Squarespace (and thereby Stripe) to process your transactions. Therefore, we do not collect or store any of your payment details. We recommend you review the Squarespace and Stripe privacy policies to understand how they handle your personal and payment information.
What we do with your information
By purchasing something from our store and providing your email address, you consent to receiving emails from us in relation to your order. We may also send you follow up emails about your product, new products, our store, newsletters or other email updates. You can opt out of these emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our email correspondence.

We will not share your personal information with any third parties unless required to do so by law or if you violate our terms and conditions.
As a small neighbourhood organisation we necessarily rely on third parties to carry out certain functions (such as processing payments through payment gateways, web hosting, and delivery of your order).
