Kagoshima Inaka Network

We exist to share the beautiful produce created by the people of Kagoshima, Japan with the world. KIN stands for the Kagoshima Inaka Network. Inaka is the Japanese word for "countryside", where all the best produce is grown.

We hope to give artisan producers, tea growers and craftspeople in Kagoshima an international platform to share their gifts.

Our operations are based in Perth, Australia, the sister city of Kagoshima. 'Kin' describes the ties between family - and we hope to nurture this kinship through tea.

Tea is a culture in Japan. Every home in Japan offers tea as a way to welcome guests and foster relationships. We hope you can taste the care, intention and warmth in each sip of Kin tea.
